I still think the old 300-36 for the $Buck is a good intake.
Like CC and their cams, and E-brock's stuff, both being the biggest and have the advertising dollars, they spend on advertising when they just as easy could lower the cost of their products a bit and make it up in volume.
I bet a dollar to a donut hole that an old 8016 Stealth on a 383 will run as good if not better than an RPM/Victor Jr.. And on the 327/355 motors, the old 300-36 will stay right with the RPM too and factor in price, great if you can hunt one up.
The old Offy 360 is a flat single plane made to look like a dual plane, but it separate's all the single plane runners almost up to the plenum much like E-brock's old SP-2P so it will build good suck.
In other words, you take a flat E-brock 5001 single plane and split the runners w/ party-walls say 2" to maybe 3" from the plenum and there you have the 360!
