I'd really appreciate that throttle linkage you mentioned. As luck would have it, I'm actually in Las Vegas now (at Nellis) and can meet up in person (this weekend works great for me) to make the handoff if you're game and I'd be happy to buy you lunch/a beer for your trouble.

If you'd rather throw it in the mail that's fine as well, just let me know the particulars and I can shoot you the cash with Google Wallet.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Unfortunate newborns don't come with an instruction book, but he will teach them.

    John,
I want to apologize for my two post last night. I'm glad you deleted them. I was actually embarrassed and later that night I did try to delete them but I was not able too. Few to may beers.

Vega$69, I've just relocated to LV from the east coast. I am working (slowly) on my 1967 RS. I moved it here in pieces, so it will take me some time to get the garage and boxes of parts organized again to pick up where I left off.

In the meantime, do you have any shops you could recommend in the LV area. If you have recommendations on body shops/painting, engine shops, upholstery shop you trust that would be great. I'm to the point now that I might just drag the car and parts boxes to a reputable shop to get this thing driving again finally!

I've also tried finding out info on local car clubs (I live in N LV) but can't get much info other than the Saturday Cars and Coffee in Henderson. I was in a car club back east that hosted weekly cruise-ins, but seems the C&C in Henderson is mostly made up of individuals hanging around for an hour or so. I was always able to use the collective knowledge of the car club for recommendations when I started my Camaro renovation.
