Where is a good source to pick up a genuine BRONZE OILITE BUSHING??? I dont want the cheap version that sticks to a magnet. Just about every place is selling the cheap ones. even Napa! Thx
Best I have seen is the regular napa bushing looks like the GM 10125896 . The HD Napa PB-656-HD has little slots in the bearing , where the input shaft rides, this is good for cooling the way I see it.. It also has a little lip on it that I use as a wear indicator.
Prefer the Napa HD over the GM but they both are the aluminum bronze type.
Thanks Don. I called Autogear and they recommended I go to my local Napa and order the HD bushing only because after shipping and tax (I'm in NY also) it wouldnt be cost effective. Great guys up there. I think the part# is actually BRG B 652HD ?
Forgot to mention, this is a Federal Mogul part number. I would try Autozone, PartsAmerica and the such. Its not a Napa only part number , . Thats what is on the old box.
