Went by Powerama 2009 here in Edmonton, Canada and got a few pics of some good quality restorations, pro-touring, and some rare cars. One of the cars was a triple black ZL-1 Camaro RS car that I believe just came out of the US not long ago.

Obviously a tribute of some kind???? If it was a tribute to the only 2 made it would have gold stripes and those 2 are not thought to have survived since they were proto types.

Tribute or otherwise it's a great looking car! Minus the ZL-1 badge.

Were there ever any converts made ZL1'S?

No COPO convertibles in 69. COPO9560 (ZL1) or COPO9561. NO COPO Chevelle convts, either, for that matter.

An orange "caution-fan" sticker would look right at home with the ZL1 Badge. Nice looking car, though.

I can't remember exactly what it looked like, but the two ZL1 show cars had unique chrome grill badges.
