Default 1967 ss 327?

I thought the smallest motor available in a 1967 Camaro SS was the 350?

Did GM put 327 V8 motors in 1967 Camaro SS models?

thanks.

Nope, 350 was the smallest c.i. in any SS. I dont know why some folks keep passing that old wives tale around, its not true.

Thanks. I know the 350 was the only motor for a short while before they introduced the 396 versions to the lineup

Just realized, seller is Snookerman from this site. He has his red/white 67 RS/SS posted for sale. Replacing it with a 2010 Camaro

67 L30/M20 (327/275 with Saginaw 4-speed) was very close to being an SS (it wasn't) as checking those boxes got everything an SS 350 got except the badges and engine/tranny combo.

Not quite. Rich lists several other differences. Hood, wheels, etc.

Not completely true. Mid to late year the L30/M20 (327/4 speed) cars received the 12 bolt rear end with the radius rod. Still mono leaf.

Right, what I was saying is that it has a 10 bolt and that SS cars never had 10 bolts (in 67, I think in 69 they could)

I believe you are correct. Some L48/PG cars received 10 bolt rears in 1969.

Thanx! Although I know the differences I shouldn't assume that others do also. As he mentioned only the engine that's all I commented on.

He emailed me pics calling it an RS/SS and then he came clean when I called him out on it. It's an original plane janer that was converted to an RS and had SS badges and hood put on. I believe he told me the car was originally gold or green or something like that but definatley not red. IMHO he is doing 7 different kinds of wishful thinking if he thinks he's going to get $38,500. Nice looking car though!
