Do we need to lower the car? half the class says yes and half no.
one kid even thinks we need to raise the back.
what do you think?

I would leave it just like it is......any lower increases the opportunities for crushed header tubes. Below is my car and if I went any lower with the ride height I would have driveability problems....I'm not gonna risk damaging an $1,800 set of Lemons Headers .

Looks good like it is. I would get it running/driving and see how it handles then go from there.

We installed a layer of damplifer pro and then covered that with luxury liner pro.We covered both inner doors, roof.trunk, inner quarters, floor and firewall.(What a difference) tapping on the roof and doors sounds as solid as a wall.
Frank at Prodigy Customs hooked us up with a complete Auto Wire car wiring kit.(Thanks FRANK) That will be the next step.
Every student will be given a copy of the wiring directions to study and will be tested before we start.

Tillman,

Those students should be proud of their work, looks real good.

Have some come my way and help me do carpet work. Need some younger blood to climb inside the cage and cut some carpet for me.

As for ride height, mine is 8" to the bottom of the rocker in the front and rear, but may go down a little more in the front.

Here is mine:

Keep up the good work and love your color choice?

What hood are you going to use?

Bruce

School is out today for snow.We are also out Mon and Tue for Mardi Gras.I cant say enough about Frank at Prodigy.I ordered a set of Stainless works headers and a Auto wire wiring harness from him.He cut me a super deal and even put in some of his own money toward the purchases. He is good for his word. (Thanks Frank)
I will post pics of the install on wednesday. These headers are so cool.

I am back on the trunk area.It seems like the 26 gallon fuel cell is going to take up almost the entire trunk area.I have installed second skin in the trunk area and reinstalled the fuel cell.I guess I will just install carpet around it.The battery will be under the hood.Any Ideas?
