Hi
In the process of installing my lower control arms after many months apart, does any one know when installing the nut and bolt if the nut faces the front or rear of the car, working on a 69 Camaro Thanks

Just so happen to have my 69 assembly manual open in front of me. According to it, the front bolt has the nut facing forward and the rear bolt has the nut facing toward the rear.
Bums me out because I rebuilt my suspension last summer and have both the complete opposite. Oh wellGood luck |

The 67 Assemble Manual also has the nuts to the front and back but when I took my car apart the nut were to the inside. In another thread there is a surviver original 67 e-bay car and it has the nuts to the inside.
When I put my car back together the nuts are to the inside. Roger

I don't think it really matters unless it is a concours judging thing does it? I put all mine "nut to the rear" with new shiny grade 8 hardware. The only thing that does matter is to tighten them when the wheels are on the ground with full weight.
