There are hundreds of motors for sale, you can buy for pennies on the dollar from somebody needing money. You might have to look a little. I have a buddy who's friend just bought a whole truck with a stout 383 or $ 700 I think. He was just buying the motor really. You can buy $3000 motors for $1000 in many instances.

I'm a little leary about buying a used engine online, a buddy of mine got burned on sb 383, it ended up having a cracked block. Now if i could find one freshly built with a warranty from a builder on hard times thats differant.

If I use flatop pistons with the 64cc heads i already have now will I still be able to use pump gas?

Depending on your camshaft sellection yes you can.

I was tring to find out should I keep the cam I have and put some 1.6 rockers on to increase the lift or should I just get a bigger cam?
