I put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend. Shoulda gone with a little more gear. It'll pull fifth down to 1100 RPM's or so and accelerate from there if the road is fairly flat but really needs to be at around 55mph to shift into fifth and just drive. It runs 100mph at 2800 RPM now and just burbles along.

I was a little worried that having such big exhaust might make it boomy or drone when just cruising but I tell ya....it sounds friggin' great. Having an x-pipe and enough ci to flow it must do the trick.

How is 1st and 2nd gear now compared to the 350? Will it hook if you roll into it in 1st? The x-pipe helps out alot. My car has dumped 3" one chambers on it with an x-pipe and my 'Cuda has 3" dumped super 40s with out one and it is much louder.

Honest to God I've actually shown some uncharacteristic restraint. The TKO is supposed to be broken in for 500 miles so I haven't really gotten into it hard. Just progressive throttle.

When I took it out over the weekend I had the window down and was busy watching the laptop and AFR gauge while I was pulling through an intersection out in the middle of nowhere. Some punk in a fart canned import did a 7000 RPM neutral rev while he was passing me going the other way and I almost jumped through the roof. Then I started laughing to myself. Then I had to shake my head and fight the urge to turn around, run him down, and pick him out of my air cleaner later.

The first gear in this trans with a 3.42 is supposed to be like my old M20 with a 3.90 so I imagine it'll have some snap.

Where's pics of the 'Cuda? What year? My mail lady has a '66 that her dad bought new and she's been talking about selling it but I think she's got some Barret Jackson confusion going on. It's just a 318 but that style would be cool slammed with all the trim except the big grill removed.

The exhaust is for either. They have 2-3/16" headers for big blocks but only list them in painted.
