yes but don't use the full capacity unless asked for , unlike the holley or edel which do not have small primaries

Some Truck and large engine applications had the 800 cfm Q-jet.

- How to identify

You tube has some other videos that could help you out too.

I have been told this is the place to get a rebuild kit.

I don't know if this will help you in Egypt or not !

OK before rebuilding check the butterfly bushs are NOT worn
Unless u have the right gear..starter reemers of the correct size, know what u are doing align reeming and know how to replace or re bush....AND shafts also need replacing...
Get new carb...If u have vaccuum leaks around butterfly bushes, all the rebuilding in the world will not do squat, espec on a lager 750/850 cfm carb

Quote:
the car has a target 350 crate engine with low mileage on it and stock heads and manifold , the tranny is a TH350
So back to basics.. best power is an engine that has ALL is go gear..cam , headers, carb, heads etc matching the rpm range that is going to be used....
Therefore requiring 750 cfm is WAY over carbed..thu small primaries help...And carbs DO work in narrow bandwidths.
Therefore i would strongly suggest a 600 vac secondaries with the auto....BUT if u have a Spread bore valley cover u WILL NEED an adapter plate which may end up making the top of the carb too high for the hood.....most adapter plates can have around 7 to 8 mm milled off nps .
IF things do work out too high, then u then go for a new 600/or 650 vac secondary spreadbore holley, Or go for a square bore valley cover and new 600 vac secondary.

Yes I think about these things because the USA is on the other side of the world to me also.
End of the day, rebuilding 2nd hand carbs ALWAYS ends up with far more hasstles and costing far more than a new carb ..just go thru the treads here with 2nd hand carb issues.
Dropping a newcarb on...if it is a holley....
set accel pump gap...30 secs
Set float levels 3 mins
Tune in idle/ mixture/secondary stop screws 5 min
Tune in jets with O2 cruise circiuts...(change jets, most proberly 1 or 2 sizes down) 30 min tops

Quote:
I must admit that at a certain point I wanted a Holley , but got lost in the amount of models available in their product lines and which one suits my car better!!
I must admit i am still very confused
Some where have another look, Holley has a huge chart with different engines, cams, trans etc ....one looks for the closest to yours....the only diffrence between them , and it is listed are jets and powervalves
yours would most proberly be about a 600 vac sec square bore with 68 jets and a 6.5 power valve, which from experiance may have to reduce jets to about 66 s, so order a few sets of jets at the same time 64 thru to 66s...and a couple spare sets of bowl gaskets and manifold to valley cover
light smear of oil on gaskets before install then the dont rip when u take bowls off and stuff.
