Inline tube offers either a 1 piece or 2 piece front to rear brake line kit for a 68 Camaro. They are both the same price. My car has a 1 piece line I believe OEM from the factory.
Are there any advantages to going with the 2 piece or what is the difference? Thank you, Donnie 1 Piece http://www.ebay.com/itm/68-1968-Cama...#ht_500wt_1125 2 Piece http://www.ebay.com/itm/68-1968-Cama...#ht_500wt_1125

The two piece was used in conjunction with a proportioning valve which was bolted to the frame under the driver door. They were used with the front disc brake option. Don't know what you are building, but if it includes original type disc brakes, you should get the two piece. You will also need the brass valve, which is available used, but is also being reproduced.
If you are using front drum brakes, use the 1 piece. |

Proportioning valves were not used on all cars with disc brakes. Besides the information below, a plethera of threads at CRG pertain to valve usage or lack thereof, and inconsistencies. http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#valve

I used the 2-piece line to the rear only because it was easier to install with the car assembled and on the wheels already. I went to NAPA and bought a straight adapter to connect the 2 lines together on the frame and put a clamp where the junction is.

Thanks guys, my car was originally a 4 wheel drum car but I'm swapping over to the C5 front/4th Gen F body rear setup with a hydroboost and prop valve if necessary.
The car is up on jack stands..front clip is off and no wheels on it or brakes so I'll go with the 1 piece and hopefully it works out. Thanks again, Donnie

Hey Donnie -
I'd go with the 2 piece. The junction on the framerail is a perfect spot for an adjustable prop valve, and it's a nice thing to have with your brake swap. I had to cut ~1" from the front piece and re-double flare it - simple.

Just make sure the female female coupling is included. I've heard of guys getting the 2 piece without it. No problem if you are running the proportioning valve, but needed if you aren't.
