I hope not!

Thats very disappointing.
I dont understand why guys spend so much money and time building their car the way they want it then decide to sell it once its finished.

Is it not all its cracked up to be once its done
Do they spend too much money during the build processs and get in over their head?
Or do they just get bored of it and want to move on to something else?

For some it's all about the journey and not the destination.

Well, I can only speak for me. I have automotive ADD and OCD. If I had a nickel for every car or motorcycle I built, sold it quickly, and moved onto the next project, I'd have a whole lotta nickels. Race cars, street cars, custom bikes, Harleys, scooters, etc. I guess I like making and idea become reality as much as I like having a finished product. But I admit I have a problem, and hopefully a cure will be discovered... But I have had this car longer than any I've ever owned. 6 years and 4 different combos in it. Ha!

With the thread coming to an end, and the car running well, I'll post up a few random pics and videos I took in the past couple weeks, to close out this chapter.

Pic of the trunk area. Chute storage mount, ice box, battery box (aluminum to be powdercoated satin black soon, and water pump wires to be shrink wrapped).

Pic from the driver side. (I/C to be powdercoated satin black soon.)

Pic from the passenger side.

Video of a box in a box.

I'll post a couple videos of the car running soon, and that'll be all she wrote.

Looks great Jim, nice work! Is it sold yet or will you get a shot at some timeslips?

Now that winter set in I can get going again on my project, the headway you made on yours puts me to shame...

The guy was a little low with his offer so it's still here. Another local guy is interested in the roller though... It's running really good, but the brakes are still a little sketchy. I'll send you info soon through PM's. Now it's your turn...

I hope its not the end................

It must continue to live on.

Yeah I just installed 4 wheel Strange brakes and am going through the same ordeal. Brakes just are'nt what I expected. Kinda wish I would of stuck with my stock disc/drum setup. This lightweight Strange setup isnt woth the headache.

Here's a quick video of the car running. Don't mind my daughter making funny noises in the background...

The end.
