Have not seen those personally but sure they are doing a fine job in that area. I did see first hand long ago when they first kicked in on the 68 dash thing and they look excellent for a killer price. Also saw a 69 Trans-Am Firebird dash they did that was outstanding. Talked to them at Fall Carlisle about the 69 dash pad but nothing to report yet....

To save on shipping for us north eastern residents: Travel to a Carlisle car event (Spring, Corvette, Fall), enjoy the event and drop your items off to Al Knoch Interiors. Then travel back to the next event, enjoy the show, and pick up your parts. Bingo, no shipping.... I gave them my front buckets, rear seat, and door panels. Extremely happy with the results!

After reading these posts, I got curious too and here is a picture of mine. (also needing to be redone). Would this date stamp be read as Jan. 2nd, 1968? If so, the dash would have been built at least two and a half months before the car. My build date is third week of March.

I am curious how far other peoples dash date stamps preceed the build date of the car.

Just got a call that it will be done and shipped out tomorrow. $189 + shipping which was a bit more than they quoted me but it was also pretty bad. Hopefully have pictures early next week!

Definitely keep us posted, Jason. My original '69 dash pad is in really good shape other than it has the typical curl to the bottom of it. I'd much rather have Al redo mine over getting a repop.

Is anyone doing 69 pads to a high level of satisfaction? 7 and 8 pads are made differently than 9's. Did not know Al Knoch perfected the 69 manufacturing process.

They are recovering NOT manufacturing.
