My buddy runs a shop at our local airport that has an underground scale. I pulled my Camaro onto it and it read 3346 LBS, w/ a totally full tank. So subtracting approx. 110 LBS. for fuel it's about 3236 LBS.
The car is a 327 w/m20 trans,power steering,and 12 bolt rear. For years I've always wondered how much it weighed, now I know.

The $64 question has been answered. You could probably deduct, I wouldn't alittle more for fuel, 16 gallons X 8 lbs = 128 pounds. But, I would still keep full fuel in the weight.
Most moving companies custom weigh also for a nominal fee of $10. I weighed my 2000 SS and with 1/2 tank, 3460 lbs.

FWIW, I weighed my 67 back in the day. it was a real pig at 3565 (give or take) with half a tank and me out of it.
All of those options (BBC/TH400/12-bolt/PW/PDB/PS etc.) weigh it down. Big block torque and deep gears make up for it. Crappy MPG though. Then again I didn't build it to get gas mileage, I built it for smile mileage...

Let one of my sisters borrow it for a week and it'll come back weighing about as much as a new SS.

Yeah....it will average 6lbs. Can be little below or little above 6lbs depending on the several variables. Water weighs around 8 lbs.

I weighed my 68 RS on our four corner chassis scales a few years back and posted them up, here are the weights without me in the car;
LF- 917 RF- 908 LR- 675 RR- 649 total- 3149 cross- 1583- 50.2% left- 1733- 50.5% rear- 1324- 42% total- 3149 So at 3149 and I don't know, maybe half a tank, it's close to everyone elses findings. This was with my 406, full interior, ps, pb and rally wheels. I don't know if the fiberglass cowl hood was on it yet or not...
