Can anyone suggest a supplier for a speedometer gear for a 3.73 gear ratio. I have tried DR Classic and Rick's, same answer from both, out of stock. My understanding is that I need a 23 tooth gear, does this sound correct with stock diameter rear tires (E70 X 15). Can anyone help on this one.

He says they have been discontinued and he sold his last one this week. He said to try Corvette Central, he knows the owner and he has some left.

I just pulled a gear out of one of mine to get the speedo working right with a 4.10 gear. Going by the RPM's and speed with 26" tall tires the one I pulled out was about right for a 3.73 gear. It was old and might have been yellow at some point but looks kinda natural color now. I'll get the tooth count tomorrow. Let me know if you want it.
