I would not put those NOS quarters and fenders on that car. An owner of a more valuable car will gladly pay for them. You stole the panels and got the car for free.

I was honestly thinking about selling all the orig stuff and buying all good mark I could prob pay to have them put on with the money from selling them I have a guy that does great work. You think that's a good idea?

I would not buy Goodmark panels. I'm redoing 67 now done by another shop which had all Gmark panels that were unsatisfactory. Doors and fenders were poorly stamped and assembled. Doors twisted 1/2", window hole wrong, LH door front hem done poorly, fenders have voids where there should be none. Fender fronts awful, LH fender to door gap was 3/16" top and bottom and 1/2" in the center. That's just to start. Quarters were no prize either. All the bolt on Gmark panels were replaced with rot free used GM parts. They are out there if you look. AMD quarters are good. I recently hung a pair and was quite satisfied.

Many think that any repro part will be as good as a GM panel, or buy repro panels without doing research. Don't fall for a vendor's sales pitch either, even ones that are highly recommended.

I bought the project from my bro in law he had engine machined ect yes I'm sure they decked with torque plates.
