I have an original cap in good shape, but the gasket is smoked, anyone have a good source for this online?
At the same time I would not mind tightening its seal to the neck as many have. Please post links, info etc. Thanks, Tim Boston MA |

Tim,
I searched forever and could not get a replacement rubber gas cap seal. The only solution was to buy a piece of rubber, trace the old gasket onto it and cut it out with a razor knife. Worked like a charm. Kev |

sounds good, what did you use for a piece of rubber? I found a company D and R Restoration that sells them, but you need to sign up for their site etc
thanks |

It is funny, my dad and I have been heavy into Camaros for well over 20 years, I have never heard of that company until the other day!
