Anyone ever use this stuff?? I was considering using it to weld some aluminum mounting brackets onto my aluminum radiator.

Looked at their site. Seems like it's brazing. I guess it couldn't hurt since their materials will liquify before your radiator to avoid burn through.
If the bracket breaks afterwards then you could always have it tig welded and come away with some good first hand info.

True. My plan is to do a test with similar gauge aluminum and see how well it does hold together and how easily it works. A friend has a similar product called Dura-Fix he was going to let me try. Says it works pretty well also. But you need to make sure you have a clean surface unlike the Muggy Weld. I'll post back any test results.

Make sure that your radiator is welded and not "glued" together.

A friend bought a griffin a few years back and We were going to have some tabs welded on, then noticed that the tubed were epoxied to the side tanks.

We called griffin and they said do not apply heat to the tanks or it could damage the epoxy.

Thanks for the tip. Mine is a Griffin. I thought all Griffins were welded??? But after a little research you are correct. They are all epoxied. THANKS!!!!! guess I'll look into other options.
