Wow, the 49ers fans are coming out of the woodwork, and only one season after a 6-10 season...

Now I'm not sure whats worse, the "who dats" or the 9ers fans...

Actually watching the Saints last night was nice not having to look at Sean Payton's surly mug. I think they will be easier to watch than the 9ers with old Harbaugh, I used to like the 9ers but that guy is a tool.

I'm curious how Smith does this year, last year could have just been an anomoly for the 9ers, or maybe not, but all you 9ers guys don't disappear from here if the team goes in the tank....

Glad the Saints won, even for a pre-season game, but they looked a little flat to me. Darren Sproles looks like he's ready to play ball, the way he runs. Thursday's game may be more interesting--the Saints play the Patriots--but still pre-season. Anything goes.

The Niners have been a class act throughout the years. Great TEAM players..couple of loud mouths in there always but for the most part they stick with each other and are a well coached team. There's no 'superstar' just a team of well drafted and coached players.
Now these next few weeks are going to be some great games.
Niners/pats this Sunday night should be good.
Keep your eye on number 99. Always wearing the white long sleeves..the dude is a beast and will prolly break the nfl sack record in his 2nd year (1st year as an "every down" guy too)

He's a backup..like a 3rd/4th stringer at best.
Part of the reason they're not playing Jacobs is because his attitude sucks. He's a whiner..so they use him to set an example. Remember when singletary sat Vernon Davis?
Terrell Owens was the biggest pos that they stuck with for too long IMO..however the guy could play at the time and made some big catches.
Name the other 52 guys on the roster..Jacobs will no doubt be gone next year.
They've given him 5 carries on the YEAR.

How bout Justin Smith, Patrick Willis, Navarro bowman, dashon goldson, Dante Whitner, etc..the offense had their 8-9 'leaders' also that are pretty damn selfless if you've actually even listened to the interviews or heard them speak publicly. Joe staley, frank gore, Kendall hunter, Crabtree, even randy moss' attitude on the niners is one of a leader..keep em coming

I'm still up in the air on his personality. He is a team player though and definitely a winning coach. Stanford, producing Andrew luck..now we'll see with Kap but it's hard to argue with success.
His play book is becoming regarded and feared by opposition on a level not seen by many other coaching staffs. To keep Vic Fangio (ask the saints fans), bring in Greg roman and Tom rathman as a running backs coach..I'd say he's doing a pretty damn good job.

Oh boy here we go, Harbaugh is a fool, winning or not. He is NOT a team player and never has been. If he were a team player Smith would not have lost his starting job due to injury. He has torn the locker room in half with his lack of commitment. If he were truly a stand up guy he would be able to say we are going to ride it out with Kap, not every week waffling and using the hot hand cliche' they got beat by the Rams, so who had the hot hand there? Feared playbook, really! What the Niners have is a damn good defense, good running game, and a team that believes in each other even if they can't trust their coach.

Let's see how the rest of the season goes before you give Harbaugh coach of the year or the Super Bowl title.
