Default Checkout My Chip Foose 69 Camaro

Hat.

Had one of my cars on display at the Miami International Auto show this week.
Chip Foose came by to check out our classic cars.

Nice guy - he drew this for me.

Thats cool he did that. Like to hear he's a regular type guy.

Not into Foose. IMO, a "one note" style. Big 'ol stupid rims, lowered, paint a stripe or two. Charge 75k.
Yawn.

$75k would not get you a shell from Foose.

And what the heck is wrong with lowered cars with big rims??

I knew I'd step into it with that one.

Foose and Coddington isn't my style, thats all.
If you like it, good. It's your car. 22" rims IMO are, uh, not for me.
Flame away.

Foose and Coddington are styles apart...
I may not personally like some of his work, but even that has a great asthetic look to it
The guy has a talent.

Can anyone here render? or photoshop?
Wondering if someone could Rod a Bradford van, nothing radical...
Body needs to be widened about 12" but dont want to channel, lowered xj6 front and rear ends
Some pics here
http://www.jowettnz.sytes.net/Bradford.html
the grey one is 1 of mine

As far as we can establish A Braddy has never been Rodded, anywhere in the world

LOL - No, I'm gonna keep this one.

We had a little discussion about him cutting up the old cars.
He told me it was very important to him, to preserve the original cars.
He only cuts up cars that are very far gone.

He is a real friendly guy - He was at the show promoting his new 2008 Ford 450hp Super Truck.
I am not really not into F-150's, but it certainly is a beauty.
Took him only a few minutes to draw the picture - Very cool.

On another note...
I was pretty embarrassed for Chevrolet.
Here is a picture of the 2009 Camaro.

If you look closely at the wheels....
It has these goofy hubcaps with FAKE BRAKE ROTORS molded into the plastic.

I guess now we know why they are loosing BILLIONS & BILLIONS each quarter. Those fake wheel covers are very pricey..............

Don't think that is a GM prototype. It's either the Bumble Bee movie car or one of the rolling shells they have... Here's a wheel from a prototype.

Who cares what the prototype wheels look like?
It was the INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW.
That is what Chevrolet had on display...

I did not say it was a prototype
Just said it was pretty embarrassing. - It was.

No - actually when they were moving it off the truck...
the setup guys said it was a movie car.

Seems the prototype was dropped last week and damaged.

It had no engine, and little electrical conduit for exhaust pipes.
There is only one functioning car at this point - a GM engineer is driving it.

The whole display was lame. No posters, or brochures - nothing to collect. LOL - I love that stuff.

Lots of Corvettes .......
