Hey Guys, Can you help me out with this number on my 1969 Camaro transmission (turbo 350). This number was located on the right side of the oil pan but my numbers books don't identify it. I can't see the casting number on the casing as it is in the car and the exhaust is blocking it. The car was built in Sept. 69 in Norwood, has a 12 bolt (410) rear, an X11 body tag (but is not an SS, power drum brakes). The engine is a 350 from the 70's so I know that is not original. Anyway here is the numbers stamped in the transmission oil pan D5R05D.
Thanks for your help.
Chris, Thanks for your reply. I was looking at your website (which is really nice) and came back and there was your reply.
Well that answers my question the tranny isn't original either. I'll have to check the rear.
Thanks again,
Drew
