Default Wilwood calipers and brake lines

I replaced the factory calipers on my 71 chevy truck today with a set of wilwood d52's, they are the factory replacement for the gm calipers. Everything went on perfect but now when I turn the wheels my front rubber hoses are to short, it will not allow for a full turn.

A couple of questions:

1) whats up with that? If its a factory replacement I would think I would be in.
2) when a brake line is measured is it end to end or is the measurement just the actual rubber hose part.

thanks

thats a major show stopper for driving, I would just get a longer set of hoses and get it over with. what about something like pasted in this link:?

1) whats up with that? If its a factory replacement I would think I would be in. .....................I agree but you know how things go!

2) when a brake line is measured is it end to end or is the measurement just the actual rubber hose part. ........end to end I would first guess

is it possible the lines are not turned or installed exactly as removed? with upgraded calipers the lines would be almost mandatory for max performance.
