Default Need help on upgrading my stock 68 wheel to the optional woodgrain

Hey fellas,

I am here today with a question on my 1968 Camaro Convertible that has just undergone a rostissere restoration and now I am in the final assembly stages of the build.

I have ran into a slight bit of confusion wherein not knowing how the horn contact mounts. I purchased the reproduction woodgrain wheel and horn contact/cam set. As my car did not have the woodgrain option it came with a standard wheel.

My question is, Does the 3 spoke woodgrain wheel mount to the adapter/collar first or does the horn contact mount to the collar and then the steering wheel installs ontop of the contact? If anyone has a diagram or photos that would be fantastic! Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Here's a pic, do I mount the wheel directly on top of the contact?
