Haven't been on here in a long time, been on YellowBullet since it's mostly drag racing. Sat out this entire year so I could get this engine built.
2013 is going to be really fun. Low 9's I'm hoping...:beers:

Damn. That's crazy.

I did a sbc 406 in a 69. Never knew anything about them. Bought the 350/350 car from a guy to do an LS swap. When I ran the casting found out it a sbc 400.

Did a little research and decided to keep it. Budget built it 5.7 rods 10.1 with Alum heads and Howard flat cam. I was amazed at how well it runs

that's movin
whats the weight?
60ft?
how much verter and gear?
8.90s are in the bag;)
2988lbs.
1.273 60ft.
5600 stall with a 4.33 gear
Also that was foot braking the car it won't hook on the tranny brake.
Still have a lot of engine & chassis tuning to do.

Nice combo! I can really appreciate an NA SB running bottom 9's.
What is your next planned change?

Your 120 mph 1/8 says you could potentially be running high 8's @147+.
Do you think maybe your running out of gear? Finish line RPM?

Maybe a larger tire would allow the trans brake?
I know nothing about converters and tranny brakes, but have lots of time T&T with my clutch car. Probably similar to leaving off a brake, hits real hard.
