Popular Hot Rodding July Cover Pic

Great news from a buddy of mine today. He calls and asks if I had seen the July issue of Popular Hot Rodding. I responded no, but ask if his car was featured in the issue (he has a highly modified 2010 Camaro). He said no his car was not there, by mine was on the cover, and the lead pictue in the article on the coverage of the Dallas Goodguys Autocross event page 78.

I have never had my car on a cover, or in a magazine, after 30 years or more of building cars. My car is the blue 69 Camaro with the big block.

His call made my day!!!

I thought there was a Mopar on the cover. I will have to go to the recycle bin and take a look.

Here is the pic that is lead for the write up in the magazine. The cover pic is a small one at the bottom of the cover, but still pretty neat.

OH ok that is the copy I was thinking of, Pontiac not a Mopar. I also saw where they said you liked to get sideways in your Camaro or something to that effect. Very cool!!
