Anyone ever installed one of these 1/2" hardlines from Inline Tube? I'm thinking about getting one of these rather than routing a steel braid line all the way from my tank and am wondering how difficult they are to install with the engine trans and headers already on the car. I do have my passenger side fender off the car (had to remove it to get the A/C box off the car when pullng my old engine) so that will help, but should I expect any other trouble?
I have used the 1/2 Alumin line as its very bendable and even better if you have a bender to match. On the ends where threads are needed , I use compression / npt fittings.
I did the 3/8" steel line from InlineTube with everything on the car and yes it's a little scary. Much easier with 2 guys. 1/2" might not be as friendly. It takes patience to get it through the frame and then through the muffers, emergency brake line and over the rearend. This was on a 69.
