Anyone have any pics of the type II GM P/S pump with the remote reservoir on there small block. I want to keep my power steering, and was thinking it may be better in a perfomance application then the old style saginaw unit. Mine tends to spit out some fluid when up in the RPM range.
If it's coming out of the cap to reservoir seal area, there is a later cap with rubber baffle attached you can try. It's used on 80's pickup trucks. The plastic dipstick is necked down and the rubber flap surrounds it.
Sweet sells a type II pump that is all set up for long waterpump pulley sets. It has a nice aluminum mount and aluminum pulley.
