(on a 71 Nova) i'm in the process of separating the fender supports from the original steel fenders (lotsa spot weld drilling) to mount my fiberglass fenders to. any suggestions to make sure i do this right? i'm not sure if i need to bond the vertical support to the fender so it keeps the right shape or not. i'll be drilling holes in the horizontal support to mount the fender solidly, what type of fastener should i use? i've never worked with fiberglass before, so i'm not sure of any gotchas.
