I have one old engine shop guy with a look out for any z block for me and if you are able to find the one you need you better play the lottery because your streak had just begun, big. If I ever get a hold of one the first place it will be offered is here. Just received a call from him [motor shop guy] last week, his usuall message" Hey , I have a 67 DZ motor down here come check it out" heheheh. He aint right

Didn't a guy have one on here not to long ago he found in his corvette?
Maybe search old what it's worth post and watch e-bay if you gonna find it,it will be there. like Joe said the odds are against you but stranger things have happen.. Post all your numbers on CRG so the guys have them and if it surfaces they are IMO your best chance to get it.

Thanks. I tried an ad and looked on e-bay. A guy claimed to have my engine but now he's in jail for fraud, that's why no vin #s. Can I PM Kurt and give it to him?

PS Joe, I did post a DZ engine that I had in my 68 trying to see if the car was still around so we could reunite the engine and car and you could check that one. Kurt from CRG said there was nothing in the DB on that Vin though.

I realize the engines are out there, you missed my point of my buddy calling it a DZ for a 67-68 camaro, its his little joke . If I could find any Z28 coded engine for first gen. dead or alive I would post it here for these guys to have for the price I paid .Of coarse I would lie about the price I paid for it.

I have one that I will be selling as soon as I get it back together but just the machine work is a fortune. I did get the joke about a 67 DZ as my car is a 68 Z and had a DZ and people say its a 302 what's the difference? I said about $30k.
