Were any of the 3rd generation driver door mirrors manual adjust? Meaning non electric and non cable remote.

I believe they were either electric adjust or cable adjust only.

The 82 and 83 Sport Coupes came standard with the black mirrors, which I believe were manual, no driver's remote cable control. They were somewhat block shaped and rather shallow in depth, maybe 2 inches deep. They were unavailable on the Berlinetta and Z/28. They only could get the sport mirrors, which had the cable system on the driver's side. It seems that most buyers went for the sport mirrors on the Sport Coupes, which were optional on those cars.
I have an 83 sales brochure that lists the black mirrors but have no picture. My 82 brochure is packed away and I remember seeing a picture of them on the Sport Coupe. Larry |
