Default 83 Z28 H.O Documentation

Can I still get documentation for my 83 Z28 H.O. from GM? Like invoice and what options it came with.

Thanks,
Tony

Have you checked under the drivers side seat? Usually the build sheet is under there or the passenger seat on 3rd gen Camaros.

There should also be a RPO list on a sheet in the center console glovebox.

I thought I read somewhere that GM still has this information and that there is a phone number that you could call to get it.

Thanks,
Tony

My 83 H.O. had the build sheet under the seat too, and another one crumpled up behind the back seat, but no RPO list under the console lid. In fact, I don't remember seeing any type of list except on the window sticker. I ordered it new from the factory.

I checked last night and my 83 H.O doesn't have a RPO list under the console lid either.

I had a 1984 Z28 H.O. w/ factory 3:73 gears and T-Tops. The wheels & windows were even marked with the VIN. There is usually an RPO sticker on these cars. Look under the lid of your rear hatch if you don't find it under the center console lid. Some of tehse cars even had it on the drivers door. Hopefully it wasn't removed.

Try your local Chevy dealer (the parts department) and see if they can find the options. Hopefully they go back to the third gens.

Here are the 1983 RPO codes http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-ca....asp?year=1983
