Default Question About A Missing Part

A part of the dash is missing from this car and I can't seem to find it anywhere so that I can buy it and put it in... what is this peice called? All I know about it is that it just covers that area and has the z-28/Iroc-Z emblem on it.

Corry, most of the guys here are 1st gen'ners, not 3rd gen. www.f-body.org might be a better place to ask.

Hmmm.... it's been a while since I had a third gen (about 15 years ago) but I think the only thing you're missing there is the actual dash emblem. The rest of it looks fine to me, at least the same as mine looked if I remember correctly.

That's what I've heard... but I've seen other '88 Iroc-Z's with a whole plastic mount there. Maybe there's was custom. Thanks anyways.

Your dash is normal with the exception of the missing emblem.

I am a first gener and a 3rd gener

Alright. It just seemed a bit odd to me. I guess I'm not used to 3rd gens yet.

i own 2 thirdgens still, and the guys are right. you can just get a new dash emblem and your good. I do recall someone saying that they used to make aftermarket glove boxes that would fit that space on the right a bit.. but ive only ever seen one of those in my whole time of researching camaros.
