I have a 1980 Z28 and a 1998 Firebird. Is it possible to drop the Z28 body on the Firebird chassis? Just curious. Thought it would make a really cool project, and it would actually save me a ton of work. Was going to yank the motor and tranny and stab into the Camaro, but if I can bolt the Camaro body onto the Firebird chassis, I'd be a happy camper! Somebody out there must know...

There is a company doing that with first gen Camaros/Firebirds, so it could be done with your cars but it's a LOT of work.

It's not worth the trouble. They extend the center section of the body and there is a ton of fab work. No fun!
