This works, it's free, and it has a couple of extra tools and capabilities if you choose to use them.

I took a look at MailWasher.
Decent little app. I have been using SpamAlarm for the past couple of years, but I think they are no longer in business. |

I've had good luck with SpamBully and spambayes. I've been using both a few years at home and work. SpamBully also lets you report spammers to their providers which can be fun and has a 14 day free trial, the other is free I think. Both are pretty easy to use.
