I don't really like either option as they are pictured, but I think the long pinstripe could look good if it wasn't so thick

It would look good either way but I prefer the short stripe.

I'd have to see it taped on the car Scott, but here are my thoughts.

The upper version (stripe down the middle) hints at a type of stripe available on a 68, but with your own touch. I like that. But, I don't like that the lower portion of the front runs toward the back of the car. If it came down straight, or even ran to the front slightly, I think it would look better. Or even if the top side was made to run at the same angle. It's kind of hard to explain, but I think there's too many varying lines/angles going on there.

The long stripe seems kinda "Baldwin Motion" which I dig. It gets my vote.

The second ones' stripes are too thick, and the first one destroys the beautiful line of the front clip by dissecting the wheelwell. Just MHO......

I took the liberty to change a few things .....

I have to say I like Belair Bob's also. The Baldwin type stripe going throught the wheel opening doesn't seem to flow. The second choise I think would look better if it was carried over about 2/3s the length of the door. You need to decide what you like best though because you have to live with the final results - not us.

You could also ghost the stripes.
