Default thumper

well, I got my new thumper cam in and am going to start putting it in on Monday!!! This cam has a lot of duration and modete lift.

cam specs are: lift ex .519, int .532, duration is 319. valve timing: open 19 btdc, close 43abdc on the intake. exhaust is 60 bbdc and 16 atdc. lobe seperation is 107. I went ahead and ordered a vacuum can and bee hive valve springs and against comp cams I got a noisey gear drive. I only drive this car about 750 miles a year, so I am not really concered with drivability. I only wonder if I helped or hurt my horsepower. I am at about 450 now with around 480 torque.

the rest of my motor specs are 383 ci 10.41 compression with aluiminium heads that I have no idea who makes them. The only thing I can find on them is "pro" and 180, so, I am thinking the are pro action? Well, when it is done, I will let you all know how it sounds and runs.

The cam is in!!!Great googly mooley! That sucker sounds BAD. I couldn't drive it too hard cause of the rain today but it does have a lot of power. I had a hyd. .480 lift with 280 duration(at.50) and the difference is amazing! The gear drive whine! I will not get any sleep tonight!
