Default 11008338 Starter

Can someone tell me if the 11008338 starter is a staggered bolt pattern.

I am using a 1975 block and want to use factory 621 bellhousing. So I need the starter to have the small nose cone. This year block only allows for a staggered starter and I would like to use the 8338.

Will it work, it won't if it has the straight bolt pattern. If this is the case what starter can I use?

The nose cones are interchangable so an 8338 could have either nosecone on it.

go to a starter and alt repair company they will help you on what you want. and rebuild a starter for you. so you dont buy this and buy this and return this and that lol.

An auto electric store near me worked it out for me today. Turns out the car did have the wrong nose on it.

Thanks for the suggestion.
