Unhappy Scanners for the350 RamJet

I have a EZ-Link Scanner with the OBD I(GM) & OBD II cable, just today Auto X Ray tells me they do NOT have a cable that connects to the RamJet with their EZ-Link. It turns out the MEFI-4 computer system was developed for the Marine Market, not the automotive market! The codeMate EFI code Reader, supplied with the engine, does allow me to set the base timing BUT I cannot do a complete scan like the OBD II system ( it does read out the 21 error codes). Other then dumping the EZ-Link scanner and going with the Rinda Technologies Inc. Scanners or the Diacom Marine software for my notebook PC, can anyone give me some help in scanning my RamJet 350 with Marine EFI?

Ken,
Take a look here: http://www.sallee-chevrolet.com/Disc...3418/4500.html
Lots of Ram Jet owners on this forum.
I see MSD sells a repackaged MEFI-4 system and has full software to program it. But I don't know if it works on your system.

I now believe the Scanner/Tuner of choice to be the OBD2AllInOne.com, located in Redondo Beach, CA. They have both a Scanner/Tuner AND just a Scanner, just be aware the MEFI may have to be erased and start tuning all over again with the scanner/tuner. To really find out what is going wrong with our RamJets we need to scan out MEFI's in real time when they are acting up.

The MSD MEFI4 unit is the same one Mark Stielow used on his LS7 build.

You can find a write up on it here: LINK
