![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a '71 Chevelle Malibu, it's an original southern car with the original floor boards and original trunk pan. (not rotted out) The car has a freshly built '70 Chevelle SS 396 big block with Holley 750 carb, oval port heads, Edelbrock intake, forged pistons, forged crank, arp hardware, Mallory HEI, Holley fuel pump, Summit headers, Flowmaster pipes and Dynomax race mufflers. Cooling the engine is a Flex-a-lite 16 inch fan and a 4 core radiator. It never goes past 200 degrees. The engine pushes around 450 hp with enough torque to pin you hard to the seat and is mated to a turbo 350 automatic with a Trans Go shift kit and a 3000 stall converter. The tranny is shifted with a Hurst Quarterstick. The car came factory as a bucket seat car and still has the bucket seats. It also has the original shifter delete steering column. The interior is black. It does have Autometer gauges. The car has a factory 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and a posi. The suspension consists of aftermarket tubular upper and lower rear control arms and aftermarket front and rear sway bars. The car also has power steering and power front disc brakes. It does have the SS domed hood and the SS grille. The wheels are Welds. How much you think it's worth? Last edited by 69Nova355; May 26th, 07 at 08:21 PM. |

I have been helping a buddy try and find a Chevelle similar to that...and I have been seeing decent "drivers" in the $12 to $15 range....That car having a BB in it adds a few bucks...so, I like $13 to $16 for that car...
Do you own it...or are you looking to buy it ?? Dan |

It is mine, and I might be selling it, just trying to get an idea on what it's worth.

Chevelles are pretty soft right now. I think you would be pushing it at 10k. 71 malibus don't break the bank.

Yeah i think my first estimate may have been a bit high...but Definitely worth more than 10k in my opinion. 12-15k seems more in line to me. What were you thinking its worth?

Id say 9 to 12k depending on condition with out being a original SS car.
You probably have more than that in it but..... |

I was thinking maybe around $15k.
I've seen them sell for more and most likely w/o documentation. |

I had a chance to buy a 69 SS original big block car with M22 and a vette 427-435 hp motor all fresh , rust free solid body near perfect black paint and very nice interior for $18000.
later the same day i found my camaro or the chevelle would be in my garage... |
