looking for the sheet metal piece that I believe is connected to the body metal between the rear window and truck deck.
this would be the portion that runs under the window and inside the car down to the package tray
also the corner trim screws in to this piece.

what's it called where can I get it ???
I see rick's has it in a one piece connected to the piece between truck and window but I don't need all that.
if some has a used one I could refubish it.

thanks!
Will

You mean the 'filler panel'?

Look at http://www.goodmarkindustries.com/gr...20-710-671.jpg

The new tooling version of the filler panel extends down to the package tray. The old one does not.

yes ,but I only need the interior filler panel as my paint is good and I don't wish to replace the whole panel.

Umm...I haven't seen that offered before. You could but the interior part off this one, but the welding will kill your paint.

Just for informations sake, the panel is called the Tulip panel. Until 3 months ago the interior part was only available used, but Goodmark reproduced the panel in its entirity. Unfortunately you would have to purchase the entire panel, which I stock, at $98. You should be able to remove the rear window and using the new body adhesives, glue the interior piece with the window channel in. This would save you the welding and with some seam sealer and new window urethane sealer, you should be uptown and rolling.

Not trying to be argumentative but I always heard of the "Tulip Panel" as the OUTER panel between the deck lid and the rear window. In the body trade it's known as an "Upper Deck Panel". Unless I'm mistaken, he's looking for the interior panel that your shoulder would be against if you were sitting in the back seat. The only way I know of getting one of those is from a donor car. The only other piece that comes to mind would be the inner sail panel which would also come from a donor car. Just trying to help.

the piece is between the rear of the package tray and the rear window in the center.
I was hoping not to need to buy and cut a full panel, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

thanks!

Hey Will,
I've had to buy whole panels and chop them up. It sucks but sometimes it's your only choice. I need only that area of the back window also but I decided not to at this time.
Why don't you carefully remove the portion that you want and then offer the remainder to someone that needs the outside portion? Then it won't go to waste.
