Hi Guys,
Still trying to figure out the power windows on my 68SS. From the driver's seat, I can only control the drivers front and rear window. Both passenger's side windows work from there assigned switches. I'm assuming there's an issue with the Xover harness. I pulled the driver's side door and kick panel and its obvious I'm not in virgin territory. Someone ahead of me clipped the power lead in the harness at the switch and has run an external wire straight to the ACC in the fuse box. I'm thinking of just replacing the whole driver's side harness as opposed to trying to figure out what the guy ahead of me did. My question is where all does this harness connect? The relay, Xover harness, and driver's side front and rear qtr switches? Where does it tap into the 12V? Any good schematics available for the PWs? Thanks |

I believe it is supposed to tap into a circuit breaker mounted on the firewall, from there direct to the horn relay, similar to a convertible top.
