Default Electrical Test

I had my wiring harness completely out and went thru it fixing all the bad spots I could find and wringing all the wires out with a multimeter meter. I have installed the harness and would like to test before I cover it up. I don't have the engine in, could I hook up the battery and test all the crcuits brake lights , dash lights , basically everything except the starter and alternator ? ( I do have the starter and alt, laying around if reeded.)

Default Re: Electrical Test

yes, absolutely.
Leave the starter and alternator until there's a motor.
