Exciting new product news from Wilwood for early F body, A body owners with original or aftermarket replacement type spindles. We got word today that we can now accept orders for Wilwoods new version 13", six piston front brake conversion kit using the Superlite SL6R caliper. Like Wilwood kits which precede this one, the kit includes new hubs, rotor, calipers, brackets, everything need to convert your original drum or disc brakes to huge 13" brakes. What is so exciting is besides using the stronger radial mount caliper and mount system, is this new kit has fantastic spoke and outer diameter clearance that will clear nearly any production 17" wheel made. Spoke clearance is a incredible at only .10 meaning less need for a large mounting pad on the back of the wheel, making for easier production wheel fitment, and more potential "lip" on the outer wheel shell for a deeper more aggressive look. Inner wheel shell clearance is only 14.6 inches meaning you will only need just a tick over 14 3/4" of inner wheel diameter for safe caliper clearance. I have never measured a 17" wheel that has a inside diameter to small to fit this new system.
Effective immediately we have substituted this new front brake kit in our total car brake packages that formerly used the popular 140-7019 front kit. And while the kit is much improved, and sells for more then the former kit it replaces, for a limited time, for GPSuperStore.com members, we have not changed our pricing to reflect the additional cost in our total car brake packages. GPSuperStore.com Total Car brake Packages include Front and rear Wilwood brake kits in sizes ranging from 10.75" to 14", 4 piston Dynalite to 6 piston Superlite. All Total Car brake packages come complete with everything but hard lines. Everything includes; Internal Drum Style E Brakes E brake Cables Master Cylinder Proprtioning Valve Braided Front and Rear Brake Hoses 4 Pints Wilwood DOT 4 Hi Temp Brake Fluid And now we include: Safety Wire Pliers and Saftey Wire required for proper assembly of 2 piece rotors like we said, everything but hard lines. For more information, pricing, or to purchase, contact Frank at Sales@GPSuperStore.com

Any possibility of this happening soon??
Bob, I am surprise you did not direct him to this bar since we are doing this bar in the car your doing. As soon as Bob can turn Toms car loose, we will be doing a bar very similar to this one in a production format. We are using Toms car as the R and D car. The most important visual item to address when doing a bar in a convertible is arching the top of the bar to match the arch of the windsheild frame. if the bar is flat accros the top it actualy looks caved in the center because of the windsheid arch. Also, it is critical to get the bar to the same height as the windsheild frame. We plan to have the bar finished in Feburary if we get the car in a couple weeks as expected. they will be imediatly avaiable once Tom's car is complete. Attached Thumbnails
