I'm getting closer to painting my 69 RS. As of now I have picked PPG Flame Red as my first choice but its really up in the air at this point. I shot a panel this weekend with BC/CC and it is really red. Has anyone seen a 69 this color or know a link to a picture or can send me a picture? Thats PPG FLAME RED.
Thanks, Guy

PS: is this color even remotely close to Garnet Red?

Gjohnson, if you are running a firewall program temporarily disable it and try again. Hobbystage uses some type of script that sometimes fails to load past this type of software. Works for me...

I think that color red with black stripes is gonna look real good on my 67.

Guy, that`s the same color I`m painting my 67. It is as bright red as red can possibly be. Check out the link in my sig. My firewall is painted in the engine bay pic and my friend`s 71 Z-28, listed under Marv`s camaro is the same color also. Brent

RAMCDA,
In your post you said your paint code was PPG 2159, is that correct? The reason I ask is I got the paint code off of the door of a 2002 Dodge truck which was PR4. I took it to my PPG dealer and had him mix a quart of base coat. The label on the can says: DBC 4679 K , FLAME RED.
I shot my cowl area thats normally hidden behind the fenders with the BC/CC (clear is PPG 2021).
No doubt, its RED.
Just curious about the code you listed.
Thanks,
Guy
