Default Cowl Induction Trim Plate

ProStyle Billet Cowl Induction Trim Plate from Twist Machine.

If, like a lot of people, you run a cowl induction hood without the factory flapper door, Twist offers a great way to finish off the opening. The trim plate fits factory and OE style hoods using the original four mounting holes. Installation does not require hood removal. Price is $55 which includes stainless steel button head hardware.

Would this be a good unit if you have a functional cowl but no flapper? I'm looking to have a functional cowl induction without the expensive equipment.

Yes. So many of us do not use the flapper door which leaves the ugly flange n plain view. Our trim plate finishes off that area leaving a nice radiused inlet for you to look at. And, unlike louvers or grilles, it's designed to NOT restrict airflow at speed and venting at idle.

As the above pictures show, our product does not prevent water from getting in. The product only includes the external billet aluminum trim plate as shown. The only way to prevent water from entering the engine compartment is to seal the entry entirely.

Sorry, shipping is extra. Probably about 8 bucks to VA. The part weighs next to nothing but is more than 20" long.

Steve,

Thanks a million--it's been a real family project to get it where it is. It handles like a new car with that stance...
