Default IAC Dilemma?

Hope someone can clear this up.

I have a Holley throttle body, #9900-171, which includes the IAC motor. Last summer I put my injection on, and could not get any response from the IAC.

So I tried my REMOTE IAC I had used on my blower set-up, which is a GM IAC- 4-pin square style, and attached it to the intake below the throttle body. It seemed to work...you could hear it working!

I just read that the IAC they (Holley) supply is for a Dodge. And was told the pin postion (Wiring) is different between the two. I kind of believe this as I said the IAC on the Holley did not work.

Does this sound right to anyone? I know for sure that the Bigstuff3 is wired for GM, not dodge, so if there is a diff, hope someone can help!

Thanks Dave.

The 9900-171 is for a Chrysler style which has the same connector as the GM, but is pinned differently.

The back of the Holley manual shows the pinouts for both. The LT1 wiring is for the 1x4 GM IAC and the Holley MPFI or TBI is for the Chrysler 1x4.

Thanks for the info Doug!

The only prob is that there was / is no manual the came with the throttle body...would you happen to know the correct pinning? I have tried on line, but it aludes me! Thanks for your input. Dave.
