Default 1967 "3S" on trim tag = deluxe interior?

According to CRG (URL below), option code 3S on a 1967 cowl/trim tag denotes "interior decor group". Is this the code for deluxe interior? If not, what does it mean? I don't see any other options that would align with deluxe interior.

http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml

Found a car I'm interested in that has "3SL" (RS with interior decor group) on the cowl tag, but the seats and door panels are standard. So, I want to know if they're correct or have been changed.

Thanks!

Interior decor group (RPOZ23) was bright pedal trim and other trim around the interior (stainless strip at the bottom of the dash pad on the dash face), and might even be the wood grain on the center panel. RPO Z87 (deluxe/custom interior) included everything in Z23. Z23 could be ordered on a standard interior.

On a 67, the style code on the trim tag also denotes custom/deluxe interior. If the third digit is a 4, it was standard, and if it's a 6, it was deluxe. For example, 12637 is a 67 coupe with deluxe interior.

On a 67 the Z23 interior décor option included bright trim pedal pads, bright (chrome plastic) windshield “A” pillar moldings, and bright aluminum roof rail (headliner) moldings over the side windows. The option was available with both standard and deluxe interior.

The reproduction windshield moldings currently available don’t fit very well.

No one is reproducing the aluminum headliner molding which is too bad as they are often dented. There are shops that can repair these “bright-dip” aluminum parts. They charge by the inch. $$$

So that's what those are! I have those headliner mouldings that I got when I bought my car (in pieces) and couldn't figure out what they were. I was going to chuck em last summer! I have some other wierd mouldings that I found in the trunk of the car. All the masking tape said was "keep with white 67 camaro" I'll have to break em out and take pictures of them, maybe someone can tell me where they go

oh and another question..the deluxe panels I have for my car look like the ones in Farmboy's picture except they don't have the Camaro badge on them does that mean they are meant for a firebird?? Did the firebird have the same door panels??

To those members who have Z23 cars, with the bright moldings above the door holding the headliner in place. I have seen a couple of original cars that were 08C and 09B with Z23 and these cars didn't have these moldings. Is it possible that the early part of the year these were not used? If so, when possibly were they introduced for the Z23 interior?

I had a very unmolested 9a Z23 car that didn't have them and I wondered why. My 12c car does have a perfect set though.

Build date on my car is Oct 10, 1966. I had posted my trim tag way back when I first joined here a few years ago. I'm gonna have to go back and see if it depicts a Z23 interior.

Not much help but my 3D 7 has 'em...

I was blessed with a driver's side dent as well....Had it removed, polished and then a clear powder coat to preserve the shine.

Was told they were clear anodized in factory and noone really can do that process anymore, or maybe not this size. Same treatment for my "spears"...

Was always curious if the trunkmat got picked up in any of the option codes...

Repro panels that someone didn't put the emblem back on most likely. I see that quite often.

Hmmm, the door panels don't look like repros that I can see. CAn someone tell me the major difference in the repros and the originals? Maybe they're an old pair of repros?? So is it hard to install the emblem?? Do they reproduce it?
