I know alot of guys have done the tubs. The mini tub kit comes with all the brackets and stuff for leaf springs but i don't have leafs.
I talked to DSE, they told me about 40 MH to install. That probably means 80 MH but was hoping for a little input. Thanks, Rich

I just mini-tubbed my 69 by just moving the factory tubs inward. It took me a week of 12 hour days. It's a ton of work but not that difficult after you conquer the fear of hacking up your car

My local shop, specializing in drag cars and 99% welding/fabricating, had said their experience is about 36hrs per job.
I think the DSE one was a little longer for them because of the C-channel piece and it was the first DSE one they had done. I believe I paid them for about 40-44 hrs of work for the tubbing. (I had my own leafs also.....) I've seen similar reports of 40-60 at PT.com for almost everyone with the true variance being skills and familiarity with the job at hand. |

Vince (MrQick) did mine, I think it was about 40 hours. He did a good job.
