These are expensive but they're the real deal- same carbon fiber used in the Airbus. Twice as strong as steel and VERY lightweight.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the SS hood with louvers if it fit a 68 camaro.

Would these work with the stock hinges and latch mechanism? I assume you'd need lighter springs on the hinges.

It appears on the L88 hood, the bottom bolt of each hinge and the spring loaded hood pin will bolt onto the hood, as shown by the bolts.

Man, the L88 hood is nice. I wish they could make an SS hood. That would be sweet. If anyone decides to get one, I'd love to see them on a car.
