THNX in advance for the advice / help. 67 Camaro RS 327 auto, w/air. Fan clutch in need of replacement. I've taken out the four bolts holding it to the water pump. Is it just a matter of "tapping" it out? The AIB book I have seems to indicate that type of strategy, am I correct? Would like to hear from those with experience before I go "banging" away.

Yep....
Just yank it easy back and forth or with a small hammer...tap the rear solid part of the flange. Kev |

Water pump shaft is prolly seated well in the clutch hub pilot hole. Tap easy and keep it away from radiator. I usually place a thin piece of ply wood or wood paneling or cardboard against the radiator, to keep the unexpected movement from hitting core.
